Games for Social Change

Rating 3.00 out of 5

The following days I will attend the festival “Games for Social Change” in New York. Their mission is:
“G4C developed the festival program in response to feedback from funding organizations and the practitioner community in order to showcase the state of the art, evaluate outcomes achieved, and to grow the overall capacity of the sector. Games for Change (G4C) provides support, visibility and shared resources to individuals and organizations using digital games for social change, giving special assistance to non-profits and foundations entering the field. We formed in 2004 as a sub-group of the Serious Games Initiative. Today, G4C acts as a national hub to help organizations network and develop videogame projects beyond their traditional expertise. Our members represent hundreds of organizations and include partners in the games industry, academia, nonprofits, local and state governments, foundations, the UN and artists.”

Hopefully I will collect some new informations for WE, meaning for US.
